Personal Information
Mr. Duhia is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, a Registered Tax Consultant and a Fellow Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice.
He is also a fellow member of the Tanzania Association of Accountants and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, the Tanzania Institute of Directors and the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr. Duhia served as a member of the Governing Council of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors, Tanzania from 1st October 2014 to 30th September 2017 and is currently serving as a member of the Public Sector Committee of the Board. He is also the Honourary Treasurer of the Tanganyika Law Society.
He has been practicing as a tax consultant and auditor for 24 years and he is currently the Managing Director and Managing Partner of Taxplan Associates Limited and TPA Auditors, tax consulting company and auditing firm respectively based in Arusha, Tanzania.
He is also an associate of Star Attorneys, a law firm based in Arusha.
Mr. Duhia has been a resource person in the NBAA CPD Programmes since 2003 and has also been a resource person in the Continuing Legal Education Seminars conducted by the Tanganyika Law Society and a trainer and facilitator in tax and accounting issues in various fora in Tanzania.
