HUMAN RIGHTS AND INVESTMENT ARBITRATION TRAINING IN DAR ES SALAAM

The Tanzania International Arbitration Centre invites you all to a training on Human Rights and Investment Arbitration on 3rd  &  4th  December 2021

Course Title: NGOs and Public Interest: Options for Human Rights and Amicus Curiae Interventions i International Investment Arbitration

Time: From 09:00 am – 06:00 pm

Presenters:

1. Hon. Judge (Rtd) Robert Vincent Makaramba

A retired Judge of the High Court of Tanzania and a Non-practicing Advocate

2. Ms. Norah Gallagher

The Academic Director of the Energy Law Institute and ‘Jean Monnet Chair in Natural Resources Law and Policy (2018-2019) at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies.

3. Dr. Clement Julius Mashamba

A Former Solicitor General of the United Republic of Tanzania

4. Dr. Rukia Baruti

A Tanzanian-born international law and international arbitration expert.

She is the founding member of the Africa Arbitration Association where she currently serves as the Secretary-General with headquarters in Kigali Rwanda.

5. Dr. Francis Magare (Adv.)

A professional lawyer and an ordained advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.

All participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation

Fee:  Physical: TZS. 100,000/=

           Online: TZS. 50,000
